Jazz Generations Initiative presents ANCIENT ENTRY The Bamboula Jazz Cohort is a collective of New Orleans musicians invited annually by Jazz Generations Initiative (JGI) co-founder Dr. Courtney Bryan to collaborate around the multigenerational and interdisciplinary aspects of jazz in curating, producing, and composing work that honors the opportunity to converse intentionally around a wide variety of topics spanning: healing, democracy, creolit, and more. Tonights concert introduces the first Bamboula Jazz Cohort, the first in a series of performances featuring the musician collective a part of the Bamboula: Jazz Studies in Motion program of JGI. Dr. Courtney Bryan herself is expected to sit in with the cohort, and a few surprise guests will be announced soon as a part of this special festival week show. *This concert is made possible with generous support from the Jazz Foundation of America. Dinner Service without Advance Concert Tickets is first-come, first-served based on availability upon arrival.Full Bar is Open 5pm - Midnight for all, on show nights, with or without tickets.Kind Reminder: Snug Harbor does NOT serve the full menu inside the Music Room. We do offer cheese and charcuterie tray options. In order to preserve the integrity, quiet and focus of our world class intimate concerts, only the charcuterie, cocktails and soft drinks are available for table service inside the Music Room. However, we encourage you to arrive at least 90 Minutes prior to your showtime in order to enjoy full, relaxing dinner service in the Dining Room right next door, before getting seated in the Music Room for your ticketed showtime. Due to our intimate venues limited seating capacity, advance tickets are strongly suggested in order to guarantee seats for this acclaimed show!

Note: This event is 13 and over. Any ticket holder unable to present valid identification indicating that they are at least 13 years of age will not be admitted to this event, and will not be eligible for a refund. All concert ticket sales are final and non-refundable. All patrons must have valid government-issued Photo ID available upon entry. All teenage patrons must be ticketed like adults, and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times while inside the jazz club. All patrons must be aged 13 or older. There is NO SMOKING allowed anywhere inside the building, and there are NO PETS ALLOWED at anytime. *Legitimate Service Dogs must be wearing full credentials at all times upon entry, and owner must have licensing papers available upon staff request for service dogs.
